Helene S. Fenlon joined Spinelli Corporation in 2002 after 11 years as a trial lawyer. She has significant experience in all aspects of mediation, arbitration and litigation, including fraud actions, faithless agent disputes, probate and trust disputes, breach of fiduciary duty cases, tax disputes, contract disputes, and partnership and corporate dissolution.

Previously, Ms. Fenlon had been a shareholder with Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., in Phoenix where she received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. She has also been a litigator with Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, also based in Phoenix.

Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Fenlon worked as a financial analyst in the banking industry and as a bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She has worked in other aspects of the banking industry, in the retail industry, as a research assistant for the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, and for the US Customs Service.

Education

Ms. Fenlon received her Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) in 1990, where she was a Writing Instructor. She earned a Master in International Management from the Garvin School of International Management (Glendale, AZ) in 1983 with an emphasis in international finance. Ms. Fenlon received a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service (Washington, DC) in 1981, where she majored in International Politics. She is proficient in Spanish.

Community Involvement

Ms. Fenlon is the Treasurer of Ballet Arizona, and member of its Board of Directors. She chairs Ballet Arizona's Finance Committee, and Long Range Planning Committee.

Ms. Fenlon has been selected to join Scottsdale Leadership, Inc. Class XIX. She is also a member and Moderator Elect for the Sounding Boards, Scottsdale Leadership Roundtable.

Ms. Fenlon is also a past President of the Board of Directors of Phoenix Theatre, a past member of the Arizona State Bar Appointments Committee, and past Chair of the Maricopa Lawyer Editorial Board. From 1992 through 1999, she was a member of the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program. She received a Volunteer Service Award from Catholic Social Service of Phoenix in 2000.
