September 02, 2003 Scottsdale chamber updates Web site, member services Mike Padgett The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, next to the civic center, is in a construction zone, of sorts. Over the next few weeks, the chamber will be giving its Web site a face lift with a design inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the city's adopted favorite sons. The new logo and color palette will be added to the chamber's marketing materials in coming weeks, said Virginia Korte, chamber president and chief executive. Yet another new feature is a partnership between the chamber and Spinelli Corp. in which chamber members will receive two monthly e-mail newsletters on business, regulatory, risk management and legal issues. The Spinelli Report, to be sent the first Monday of each month, is a roundup of current news and trends on regulatory compliance, due diligence, security programs, theft of trade secrets and white-collar crime. On the third Monday of each month, members of the chamber's Partnership Council will receive summaries of relevant case law, definitions of computer forensic terminology and real-life case studies of computer investigations that revealed embezzlement, partnership disputes and trade secret thefts. Spinelli Corp. is a Scottsdale-based investigative company that offers private investigations, computer forensics, corporate services, forensic accounting and litigation support.
